It’s hard to believe it now, but there was a time when smoking cigarettes was a thing. It was in an era that actually spanned decades, surprisingly. It’s also hard to believe that only in the most recent number of years that the choice to smoke tobacco fell out of favour. Before that and for longer than this recent shift of public opinion, tobacco, inhaled deeply, ruled.

Don’t believe me? Think about what all the cool, sexy, beautiful people of yesteryear as conveyed through a Hollywood lens were doing. Not only were your favourite actors seen with cigarettes perpetually in hand, but they were smoking with such aplomb!

Longer than this recent shift of public opinion, tobacco, inhaled deeply, ruled.

Think about it: Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys. Marlon Brando in The Wild Ones. Heck — even good old Santa Claus was known enjoy a good drag from a cigarette now and then.
